After the public appreciation by the West of India's renewed push for an end to the hostilities in Ukraine, the US is hoping India will back a resolution in the UNSC to condemn the referendums Russia is holding in Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine and also Kherson and Zaporizhzhia in the south.
